After maintenance in Soldotna, drove to Captain Cook State Park located in the northwest corner of the pennisula--literally at the end of the road. Every campsite is secluded and the trees and folage are beautiful.
We walked down to the beach to watch people enjoying the water----brrrrrrr! We were all bundled up, and they were playing in the water that can't be too warm. You can see drilling platforms in the horizon that we now know must be 24 miles away!
Beautiful vistas!
